What's going on in my life:
Today I quit my job at Michaels, which makes me both happy and sad. There are a lot of great people there, and it's sad leaving them, but I'm really looking forward to this summer. I feel like it's going to be a good one. So my last day will be 2 weeks from now.
In June we're driving down to Florida for my best friend's wedding, which I'm in. We'll be there for a while visiting our family as well.
In July we're going to Portland, OR because Ryan is speaking at OSCON, which is amazing. I'm so proud of him. I know he's nervous, but I also know he is going to be great. We'll be there for about a week.
After that, who knows? I'm kind of feeling like something great is going to happen soon. I'm not sure what, but I'm pretty sure it'll be great. Ever feel like that? I think something will be changing soon, for the better. Only time will tell.
So, yeah, I quit my job, what am I going to do now? Well, I will be putting a lot more effort into my Etsy shop, ( smbriones.etsy.com ). Since I will have time now, I'll be planning meals and saving us money by not going out to eat every night. I will be getting serious about our finances, (we really need to invest in an IRA, create some kind of savings plan, etc.). I'll be taking better care of our "kid" (Daisy), whom is on antibiotics right now because of an infected anal gland :( She's getting better. I'll be taking better care of myself, maybe exercising, eating better, and not living off of Americanos. I went to the doctor and they told me I have Gastritis which I can blame on caffeine, carbonation, Advil Liquigels, and stress. I have since not had any caffeine or carbonated beverages other than half a cup of the new Starbucks coffee "Pike Place" and half of a can of green tea ginger ale. The first few days were hard, but I think I'm over the withdrawal now. So maybe this summer will be great for me physically, mentally, and spiritually. Yay! Maybe Ryan will want to eat better and exercise with me :) Also, after the traveling and all, I may find a work from home job or maybe do some kind of freelance or contract work.
We'll see..

Danielle and Chad had their cute baby girl last night. Congratulations guys!
