It's that time of year.
Well, it's almost Christmas. We finished our Christmas shopping yesterday. I mailed all of the gifts yesterday. This year is not going to be like any other Christmas. We wont be with family this year. It's pretty saddening. But it just didn't work out for us. We will still make the most out of it and have a good time, but it's just not like being with family. To all of our family members that may read this.. we love you and miss you and hope you have a wonderful Christmas and New Year.
xoxo.

"let it snow, let it snow, let it snow..."
Well, it just did! It snowed this morning for about 45 minutes. It was so pretty. Although it was only about 17˚, I just had to go stand in it. I've never really touched a real snowflake as it was falling. The snowflakes landed on my glove, and I looked at it closely. I couldn't believe how detailed the snowflake was. It looked almost exactly like pretend snowflakes look, only much prettier and smaller. Some were falling and looked a lot bigger than the other snowflakes, but when I looked closely at them, it was just a bunch of little snowflakes stuck together. I tried to get some pictures, but my digital camera kept dying, so I used our 35mm to take some more. I'll put them up so you can look at them. It's a beautiful morning, but I think I'll be staying inside. The weather now says 18˚ / feels like 7˚.
Well, this last week and a half has been fun. For Thanksgiving, Ryan, Daisy, and I drove down to Florida to visit my family and have Thanksgiving dinner with Ryan's family. It was a lot of fun seeing our families again. That weekend, my mom followed us up to Kentucky in her car. It was a long drive home. We arrived at 2:30am. While she was here we did some fun things. She saw parts of the Bengals game on Sunday, we won, it was great. We ate at Penn Station, went to a few other places and then went to The PNC Festival of Lights in the Cincinnati Zoo. It was really neat. (I have pictures of that also). Monday my mom and I met Ryan for lunch at Wok and Roll, (awesome chinese) went shopping, and when Ryan was off, we went downtown to the Contemporary Arts Center which was really neat. After that we were hungry so we went to a restaurant right on Fountain Square, Rock Bottom Brewery. Then we went by the ice skating rink and thought about doing it, but decided against it because of our tiredness. Tuesday we did some more shopping and spent time at home and went to Newport AMC and saw "Deja Vu". It was a good movie. Wednesday Ryan was off and Julie Dean, one of our good family friends came down from New Castle, IN and spent the day with us, we ate Pizza at Dewey's and then went over to the Newport Aquarium. Such a cool place. I touched a crab and a shark. The shark was a bit scary, but it felt neat. We then drove to Springdale and ate dinner at Chili's and Julie left from there. Thursday mom and I went back to Newport on the Levee so she could do some video taping of it to show my dad. We walked all over and walked on the Purple People Bridge, and ate at Johnny Rocket's. We went shopping a little more and then went back home. She left Thursday night, just in time, because later that night we had a pretty bad wind storm? Not sure what to call it, but we got rain and 60mph winds. It caused some damage. Then we got some flurries when the temperature droped from the previous 60˚ to like 25˚. And it's been cold since. But I'm just glad we got some snow. Did I mention it was pretty? Oh, and we watched the Bengals game on Thursday night, we won again! Anyway, Salut for now.
