woohoo!

We're going to a Bengals game Sunday! Ryan got free tickets from work and we get to go see the Bengals play the Patriots. This will be my first real football game ever. I've been to a real baseball game, and a couple hockey games, but that's it. I'm looking forward to the game. We'll have to pretend like we're real fans too and wear Bengals shirts, and Ryan can paint a Bengal on his chest and scream "kick their butts!!". I can't wait!

Perfect.

Yesterday and today the weather was perfect. The sky was beautiful. I went shopping while Ryan was working onsite at an office in Cincy. It was a good day to drive around. I think people are even nicer when the weather is like this. Funny how it can effect people so much.

We bought the new Monopoly Here and Now addition, where the little pieces are a laptop, Toyota Prius, a Motorola Razr cell phone, a Nike shoe, a McDonald's French Fry,  An airplane, and a Labrapoodle or something like that.. and a Starbucks coffee cup. The money is also in a lot higher amounts, the smallest bill is $10k, the highest is $5 Million. The properties are also different. There are stadiums, and famous places around the US, and instead of train stations, there are 4 airports. It's a pretty neat game. Ryan and I started playing it and then had to stop because it can last forever.

I think that's all I have for now! Keep in touch everyone. We miss and love you!

rain, rain, go away.

It's Saturday in the Ohio Valley and it's probably the worst Saturday of the entire year. It has been raining constantly, (starting Friday) and it will not be stopping tonight, nope, it's said to stop tomorrow sometime. I thought that fall was my favorite time of the year, but there seems to be storm after storm lately. I'm sure when it's all over the weather will be beautiful, but right now it's bleh. I'm sort of a weather nerd, (weather channel has been on all day) so I know that there is a cold front coming through that has itself pretty organized with a strong line of thunderstorms causing everything from softball size hail to tornados to 50 mph winds to flooding rains. It's all Canada's fault, with it's cold air. Well, that's really all I have to say about the weather. I just want it all to be over so we can see the orange, red, and yellow leaves and feel the crisp autumn air. That time when it's just perfect. When there's no humidity, no afternoon thunderstorms, and the sky never looks bluer. I can't wait! I'm not sure about the winter though... I'm not made for that. It's definitely gorgeous though.

Cincinnati, KY

So we're here in Kentucky/Cincinnati. So far it has been great. We've had the opportunity to explore a little with the help of Amanda and Alex, (Eric's daughter and her boyfriend). They have been great. We also visited their church and had a scenic tour while trying to find it. Ryan is staying busy at work, but loving it. Especially loving his new toys. For right now I'm enjoying my extra long vacation and entertaining our dog, Daisy. Our apartment is coming along, not too much left in boxes. We're eating out a lot. You know, just for testing purposes, for when people come and visit us. We want to be able to give them the best! (cough) But anyway, not much left to say. We're looking forward to go see some of the cool sites around here. As soon as the pesky rain lets up. And before the crazy cold hits us. Thank you all for the support you've given us. We love and miss you all.
